    My Home on tumblr

    Posted in: News

Take a picture, plug camera into my iPad, import the photo, upload to tumblr.

2 minutes. My picture’s up there.

tumblr is a real revelation to me. I didn’t see much point of it until I got a £10 SD card/camera adapter for my iPad. Such an amazingly streamlined workflow – I can get my images up on the internet in seconds!

Anyway, I’m back in Liverpool for a few days, so expect to see a load of updates on my tumblr site and not many on here!

My friend and fellow freelance graphic designer Holly Milston has set up an excellent website for sharing your design-related work.

    The Designer's Journal

Holly is evidently very excited about this project. Within minutes she was messaging me on Facebook thanking me for my submission. Good to see such enthusiasm in a project like this.

Already quite a few great projects on there. Submit your stuff today and help to make the site grow and grow :)

    This man is a hero.

I am doing a trip around the edges of Wales on my mobility scooter to raise money for The Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes and 1st The Queens Dragoon Guards. The trip, all being well will last about 46 days and I will cover approximately 1200 miles. I will be starting on the 1st May and will hopefully finish on the 21st June.

Please, do what you can to support him. Visit the website and make a pledge, follow him on Twitter and on Facebook.

A Nottingham curator has secured a stunning collection of work from world famous international artists to boost the Pakistan Floods Appeal.

Link here: www.artsauction.co.uk. You will find my Fingerprint design in there as well. If you like what you see, please make a bid or attend the auction!

So I had an idea in the shower yesterday evening to set up a Facebook group inviting people to join and submit anti-Valentine’s Day art. So far there have been a few entries and nearly 50 members. I’ve got dreams of this going viral, but this is probably not going to happen. At least not until next year.

Seems like I was too busy over the holiday period to go out and shoot a photo every day. So much for one of my New Year’s Resolutions. Anyway, I promise to try harder!
